Amber is a career Human Resource (HR) professional with extensive experience supporting organizations as an HR Generalist embedded within business operations. She brings the generalist support experience to One Degree focusing on HR, billing, project support, security and client satisfaction initiatives.
Amber began her HR career in 1995 at Britches of Georgetown, for those who remember the local retail organization. Her HR career includes experience working for a non-profit organization, a large corporate travel management company and as a government contractor specializing in technology solutions.
She graduated from George Mason University and completed the UVA graduate certificate, Leadership in Human Resource Management.
Outside of work, Amber can be found cheering at lacrosse games, volunteering with Young Life, supporting her children's many extracurricular activities, and enjoying the outdoors. As an Army brat, Amber has fond memories from her father's career and recently celebrated her brother's retirement from the Army. She is proud to support veteran business owners through her work with One Degree.
